We  Are Working Together For A Voice

As registered nurses at The Medical Center and Heritage Valley Home Care in Beaver County PA, we are committed to our community and proud to provide high quality care to our patients. In recent years, as the focus of health care has increasingly shifted to cost-cutting, we have experienced a pattern of cutbacks in many areas: rising patient acuity and staffing problems in some units: and changes too often made with little or no input from the professionals on the front lines of care.  We've come together as a union to gain a more effective voice in the decisions affecting our patients, our profession, and our work.

Heritage Valley nurses are committed to:

  • Ensuring adequate staffing and the highest quality of care for our patients.

  • Achieving secure benefits and retirement programs and professional compensation
    for all nurses

  • Gaining a stronger voice in flexing, scheduling, and other policies.

  • Working together with management to build the strongest future for our health system
    and for our community.
